Saucy Kabab

Ingredients:
Beef mince ½ kg
Onion 1
Green chilies 3 – 4
Coriander leaves ¼ bunch
Mint leaves ¼ bunch
Tomato puree 1 cup
Chili powder 1 tsp
Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
Yogurt 125 gm
Turmeric ½ tsp
All spice powder ½ tsp
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil 3 – 4 tbsp
Crushed cumin seeds 1 tsp
Dry ginger powder ¼ tsp

Method:
  1. Put ½ kg mince, 1 cubed onion, 3 – 4 green chilies, ¼ bunch of coriander leaves, ¼ bunch of mint leaves, salt to taste and 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste in a chopper, chopperize well and remove mixture in a bowl.
  2. Now form into small round patties, shallow fry with a little oil till golden brown.
  3. Heat a little oil in another wok, add 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste and fry for 1 – 2 minutes. Then add 1 cup tomato puree.
  4. Then add 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp crushed red pepper, ½ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp allspice powder, salt to taste, 1 tsp crushed cumin seeds and ¼ tsp dry mango powder. Fry for 1 – 2 minutes.
  5. Now add 125 gm whipped yogurt and cook for 1 – 2 minutes.
  6. Add in fried patties, mix a little and simmer for 1 – 2 minutes till oil comes on top.
  7. Dish it out and serve hot.
