Sesame Ginger Chicken

Ingredients:

Chicken (boneless) 1/2 kg
Finely chopped mint leaves 2 tbsp
Garlic paste 1 tbsp
Ground onions 1
Oil 2 tbsp
Soya sauce 1 tbsp
Lemon rind 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Sesame seeds 2 tbsp
Finely chopped ginger 1 medium piece
Salt as required
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Crushed red pepper 1 tbsp
Chili garlic sauce 2 tbsp
Tomato ketchup as required

Method:
  1. Cut the chicken into strips and put into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add the marinade ingredients – garlic paste 1 tbsp, ground onion 1, oil 2 tbsp, soya sauce 1 tbsp, lemon rind 1/2 tsp, lemon juice 2 tbsp, sesame seeds 2 tbsp, finely chopped ginger 1 medium piece, salt as required, black pepper powder 1/2 tsp, crushed red pepper 1 tbsp, chili garlic sauce 2 tbsp, tomato ketchup as required.
  3. Set aside to marinate.
  4. Cut the aluminum foil into squares and place 2 strips of chicken onto each piece. Place a spoonful of the marinade on top of the chicken and fold.
  5. Heat a  grill pan and grill the foil from both the sides.
  6. Remove the foil and serve the prepared chicken strips with boiled rice.
